Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**SCB-1022** is an investigational bivalent recombinant protein subunit respiratory vaccine developed by Clover Biopharmaceuticals for prevention of disease caused by respiratory syncytial virus and human metapneumovirus. It combines prefusion-stabilized fusion protein trimer antigens from RSV and hMPV, produced using Clover's Trimer-Tag platform, to induce neutralizing immune responses against both viral pathogens. SCB-1022 has advanced from positive Phase 1 data in older adults into a Phase 2 trial in adults aged 60–85 years.
