Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SCLnow 19# (also known as 19#iSCLife-CI) is an allogeneic human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell (hUC-MSC) therapy developed by Sclnow Biotechnology Co., Ltd. for the treatment of cerebral infarction (ischemic stroke) in the convalescent period. This cell-based biologic therapy utilizes the regenerative and immunomodulatory properties of MSCs to promote neurological recovery. The mechanism of action involves the secretion of paracrine factors that provide neuroprotection, reduce inflammation, and stimulate endogenous tissue repair and angiogenesis. The therapy was evaluated in a randomized, double-blind Phase 1/2 clinical trial (NCT03176498) involving intravenous administration, though the trial status is currently listed as suspended.
