Overview
SCM-AGH is a clonal mesenchymal stem cell therapy developed by SCM Lifescience. It is derived from human bone marrow and is being investigated for multiple indications including atopic dermatitis, acute pancreatitis, and graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). The therapy works through cell replacement mechanisms, potentially offering regenerative and immunomodulatory benefits. In clinical trials for atopic dermatitis, SCM-AGH demonstrated statistically significant improvements in the Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI) score compared to placebo, with effects lasting up to 24 weeks after treatment.
