Overview

SCM-CGH is an allogeneic bone marrow-derived clonal mesenchymal stem cell (cMSC) therapy developed by SCM Lifescience. It is produced using a proprietary subfractionation cultivation method (SCM) that allows for the isolation of high-purity, homogenous stem cell populations with enhanced potency compared to traditional isolation techniques. SCM-CGH is specifically being investigated for the treatment of steroid-refractory or steroid-dependent chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD). The therapy exerts its therapeutic effects through broad immunomodulatory mechanisms, including the suppression of pro-inflammatory T-cell and B-cell proliferation and the induction of regulatory T-cells (Tregs), which helps to restore immune homeostasis in patients suffering from GVHD.
