Overview
SCP031 is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor of phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K), specifically selective for the p110 delta subtype (PI3Kδ), developed by Scienpharm (Fujian Scienpharm Pharmaceutical Technology / Shanghai Scienpharm Biotechnology). PI3Kδ is primarily expressed in leukocytes and plays a critical role in B-cell receptor signaling, making its selective inhibition a promising therapeutic strategy for hematological malignancies and other cancers while potentially minimizing the systemic toxicities associated with pan-PI3K inhibition. SCP031 is currently undergoing preclinical evaluation for the treatment of unspecified cancers and tumors.
