Overview

SCT510A is a bevacizumab biosimilar developed by Sinocelltech. It is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), functioning as an angiogenesis inhibitor. By binding to VEGF-A, it prevents the formation of new blood vessels that supply tumors with oxygen and nutrients, potentially slowing tumor growth. SCT510A is being investigated for the treatment of wet age-related macular degeneration (wAMD) via intravitreal injection.
