Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SCT641 is a recombinant humanized bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Sinocelltech for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. It is engineered to simultaneously target and neutralize both Interleukin-17A (IL-17A) and Interleukin-17F (IL-17F), two pro-inflammatory cytokines that play a synergistic role in driving chronic inflammation. By dual inhibition of these ligands, SCT641 aims to provide enhanced therapeutic efficacy compared to agents that target IL-17A alone, particularly in conditions such as plaque psoriasis and axial spondyloarthritis. The drug is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
