Overview

SCTB14 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody designed to target both PD-1 (programmed cell death protein 1) on T cells and VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) on tumor cells. By binding to PD-1, it blocks the interaction with its ligands PD-L1 and PD-L2, thereby preventing immune suppression mediated by the tumor microenvironment. Simultaneously, inhibition of VEGF disrupts angiogenesis required for tumor growth. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of advanced malignant solid tumors and is currently undergoing Phase I/II clinical trials as both monotherapy and in combination with chemotherapy agents such as pemetrexed and platinum-based compounds[1][2][3][4][5].
