Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SCV Seafood Allergy Vaccine is a therapeutic vaccine candidate developed by Sementis for the treatment of seafood allergy. The vaccine utilizes the Sementis Copenhagen Vector (SCV) platform, which is a multi-antigen, multiplication-defective vaccinia-based viral vector. By delivering seafood allergens via this viral vector, the vaccine aims to modulate the patient's immune system to induce tolerance and reduce or eliminate allergic reactions upon exposure to seafood. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
