Overview

SD-C01 is a monoclonal antibody targeting the interleukin-4 receptor alpha (IL-4Rα), currently under development by Sinedore Medicine. It is designed to treat chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) by inhibiting the signaling of IL-4 and IL-13, which are central mediators of type 2 (Th2) inflammation. By blocking the IL-4Rα subunit, which is shared by the IL-4 and IL-13 receptor complexes, SD-C01 aims to reduce the inflammatory response associated with nasal polyps and other allergic conditions. The drug is currently in the preclinical or lead optimization stage of development.
