Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SD70 is a **small molecule inhibitor** targeting KDM4C, a lysine demethylase enzyme implicated in epigenetic reprogramming critical for the maintenance of MLL-rearranged acute myeloid leukemia (AML). By inhibiting KDM4C, SD70 disrupts the leukemogenic program driven by MLL fusion proteins. It has demonstrated preclinical efficacy, especially when combined with other agents such as the menin inhibitor MI-503, resulting in synergistic induction of apoptosis in MLL::AF9-driven AML cells and prolonged survival in AML xenograft models[1].
