Drug intelligence / Profile preview
sdBCMA2.28z CAR-T is a preclinical chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy designed to target B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA). It incorporates a dual human/mouse species-reactive single-domain antibody (sdAb) binder, cloned from immunized llamas, linked to CD28 costimulatory and CD3z signaling domains. This dual-reactivity allows the CAR-T cells to be evaluated in immunocompetent syngeneic mouse models (such as the Vk*MYC model of multiple myeloma) to study host-tumor-effector cell interactions and microenvironment changes, mimicking clinical settings of multiple myeloma.
