SDextran1 is a sulfated dextran with a molecular weight of 1000 Da. It functions as a selective blocker of aldolase A (ALDOA), an enzyme known to promote the growth of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). By inhibiting ALDOA, SDextran1 has demonstrated significant anti-HCC effects both in vitro and in vivo.
