Overview

SDGR5 is a small molecule inhibitor of the SOS1/KRAS protein-protein interaction developed by Schrödinger in collaboration with Bristol Myers Squibb, targeting the RAS signaling pathway to block oncogenic KRAS activation. It is designed to disrupt the interaction between Son of Sevenless 1 (SOS1) guanine nucleotide exchange factor and KRAS, preventing GDP-to-GTP exchange that drives tumor growth in cancers with KRAS mutations. Limited public data is available on its clinical status or specific indications, positioning it as an early-stage investigational asset in oncology.[11][13]
