SDN207

SDN207 is a novel flavonoid derivative developed by Floratek Pharma and the Institute of Oncology Research (IOR) as a potent microtubule-targeting agent. It belongs to a series of flavonoid polyphenol scaffolds that have been selectively modified to enhance cytotoxicity against cancer cells. SDN207 specifically induces microtubule depolymerization, exhibiting a mechanism of action similar to vinca alkaloids such as vinblastine and vincristine. In preclinical evaluations, SDN207 demonstrated nanomolar anti-proliferative activity (median IC50 of 1.6 nM) across various lymphoma cell lines, including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), and marginal zone lymphoma (MZL). Notably, its anti-tumor activity is maintained in models with acquired resistance to BTK and PI3K inhibitors, and it has also shown efficacy in leukemia and solid tumor models.
