SDTM001

SDTM001 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Saidete Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., designed to target trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (TROP2). TROP2 is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is overexpressed in a variety of epithelial tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), while maintaining low expression in normal tissues. The drug consists of a humanized anti-TROP2 monoclonal antibody conjugated to a cytotoxic payload, which is identified as a topoisomerase I inhibitor. Upon binding to the TROP2 antigen on the surface of cancer cells, the ADC is internalized via endocytosis, and the payload is released within the lysosomal compartment. The released payload then inhibits DNA topoisomerase I, causing double-stranded DNA breaks and inducing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. SDTM001 is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, with a specific focus on patients with NSCLC who have progressed on standard therapies.
