Overview
SE-1 is a mouse monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to CD32b (Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc receptor II-b), a cell surface receptor highly expressed on liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs). In research and preclinical development, SE-1 is utilized as a targeting ligand conjugated to therapeutic vehicles, such as mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-derived exosomes (Exo+SE-1), to enable precise delivery of therapeutic cargo to LSECs. This targeted approach is being investigated for the treatment of liver fibrosis and liver regeneration, as it enhances hepatic accumulation, prolongs circulation half-life, and reduces clearance by the reticuloendothelial system.
