Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**SEA-TGT + sasanlimab** is a combination immunotherapy regimen consisting of SEA-TGT, a human nonfucosylated anti-TIGIT monoclonal antibody with enhanced immune effector functions, and sasanlimab, a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting PD-1. The combination is under clinical investigation for advanced solid tumors and lymphomas. SEA-TGT is designed to block TIGIT, an inhibitory receptor expressed on immune cells, thereby enhancing anti-tumor immunity. Sasanlimab functions as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by blocking PD-1, preventing its interaction with PD-L1 and PD-L2 and thus releasing the brakes on T-cell activation. The therapeutic goal is to counteract immune suppression within the tumor microenvironment through dual checkpoint blockade, potentially yielding greater anti-tumor efficacy than either agent alone. Clinical trials are assessing safety, tolerability, and efficacy in various tumor types, including non-small cell lung cancer, bladder cancer, lymphoma, melanoma, and several others[3][5][7].
