Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination of sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) and garlic (Allium sativum) extracts, primarily utilized as a dietary supplement for cardiovascular support. Sea buckthorn is a rich source of vitamins, minerals, and omega fatty acids (specifically omega-7 palmitoleic acid), which are associated with improved lipid metabolism and mucosal health. Garlic contains bioactive organosulfur compounds, most notably allicin, which have been studied for their ability to lower blood pressure, reduce cholesterol levels by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, and exert antiplatelet effects. Together, the combination is intended to provide synergistic antioxidant and cardioprotective benefits.
