Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Selicrelumab + atezolizumab is an investigational combination therapy of two monoclonal antibodies for cancer immunotherapy. **Selicrelumab** is an agonistic IgG2 monoclonal antibody that targets CD40 on antigen-presenting cells (APCs), activating immune responses and priming CD8+ T cells. **Atezolizumab** is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1), blocking its interaction with PD-1 and B7-1 (CD80) and thus releasing the inhibition of tumor-specific cytotoxic T cell activity. The combination aims to synergistically boost anti-tumor immune responses in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors not amenable to standard treatment[1][3][4].
