SelK2 + enoxaparin is a combination therapy consisting of SelK2, a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting PSGL-1 (P-selectin glycoprotein ligand-1), and enoxaparin, a low molecular weight heparin anticoagulant widely known under the brand name Lovenox. SelK2 inhibits inflammatory cell extravasation by blocking PSGL-1 interactions with selectins and chemokines, with primary investigational indications in asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)[3]. Enoxaparin acts by potentiating antithrombin III, leading to inhibition of coagulation factor Xa and, to a lesser extent, thrombin (factor IIa), preventing the formation of fibrin clots[1][2][4]. The therapeutic rationale for this combination would be to simultaneously address inflammation (with SelK2) and thrombosis risk (with enoxaparin), although to date there is no public record of this specific combination being clinically studied or approved as a fixed combination product.
