Selution SLR DEB is a **sirolimus drug-eluting balloon** used in endovascular procedures for the treatment of de novo and restenotic coronary and peripheral arterial lesions. The system consists of a **percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) balloon** catheter coated with sirolimus at a dose of 1 μg/mm², utilizing a proprietary technology comprising **sirolimus-loaded biodegradable poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) microspheres (MicroReservoirs)** embedded in a phospholipid coating for sustained, controlled drug release and efficient arterial transfer. The Cell Adherent Technology (CAT™) membrane protects the coating during delivery, enabling drug transfer upon inflation and supporting tissue retention of sirolimus for periods up to 90 days. The device is designed as a "leave-nothing-behind" solution to avoid permanent implants and provide an alternative to paclitaxel-eluting balloons, with proven efficacy and safety in complex patient populations and a range of vessel sizes. The primary indications include **coronary artery disease (de novo and restenotic lesions)** and **peripheral artery disease (including femoropopliteal and below-the-knee arteries)**[1][2][3][5][6][7][9][10].
