Semdexa (SP-102) is a novel injectable corticosteroid gel formulation of dexamethasone sodium phosphate, developed for the treatment of moderate to severe lumbosacral radicular pain, commonly known as sciatica. It is administered epidurally and is preservative-free, surfactant-free, suspension-free, and particulate-free. Semdexa provides rapid onset of pain relief with effects lasting up to 99 days following a single injection.
