**Seminal plasma** is the cell-free fluid component of semen, comprising secretions from the testes, epididymides, and male accessory sex glands. It is a heterogeneous, donor-derived biological mixture containing proteins, peptides, cytokines, enzymes, hormones, ions, lipids, nucleic acids, and extracellular vesicles rather than a defined single active pharmaceutical ingredient. In the SENAVA randomized IVF study, prepared seminal plasma from the male partner was deposited intravaginally around the external cervical os after oocyte pickup as an experimental adjunct intended to influence female reproductive-tract immune and endometrial responses and potentially support implantation.
