**Senktide** is a highly selective synthetic peptide agonist of the neurokinin 3 receptor (NK3R), a G protein-coupled receptor predominantly responsive to neurokinin B. It is derived from the C-terminal hexapeptide of substance P, with the sequence Suc-Asp-Phe-N(Me)Phe-Gly-Leu-Met-NH2 and notable modifications that confer high NK3R selectivity and resistance to enzymatic degradation.
