Overview

SENL-201 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the CD30 antigen, developed by Hebei Senlang Biotechnology. It is specifically designed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory Hodgkin's lymphoma, a malignancy where the CD30 protein (TNFRSF8) is highly and consistently expressed on the surface of malignant Reed-Sternberg cells. The therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a CAR construct specific to CD30. Once re-infused into the patient following lymphodepleting chemotherapy, these engineered T cells recognize and induce apoptosis in CD30-positive tumor cells through direct cytotoxic activity. SENL-201 is currently undergoing Phase I/II clinical evaluation to assess its safety and efficacy in patients who have failed standard therapeutic options.
