Overview

SenL-T7 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the CD7 antigen, developed by Hebei Senlang Biotechnology. It is specifically designed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory CD7-positive T-cell lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) and T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL). CD7 is a transmembrane glycoprotein highly expressed in T-cell malignancies, making it a viable therapeutic target. To prevent fratricide—a common challenge in CD7-targeted therapies where CAR-T cells attack each other—SenL-T7 likely employs strategies to minimize surface CD7 expression on the engineered cells. The therapy is currently being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials to assess its safety profile and anti-tumor activity in patients who have exhausted standard treatment options.
