Overview

Senl_22 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the CD22 antigen, developed by Hebei Senlang Biotechnology for the treatment of B-cell malignancies, including relapsed or refractory Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). The therapy involves genetically modifying a patient's own T cells to express a CAR specific for CD22, a surface protein widely expressed on mature B cells and most B-lineage malignant cells. Upon re-infusion into the patient, these engineered T cells recognize and bind to CD22-positive tumor cells, leading to T-cell activation, expansion, and targeted cytotoxicity. Senl_22 is often evaluated in clinical trials as a monotherapy or in combination/sequential regimens with CD19-targeted CAR-T therapies to mitigate antigen escape and improve durable remission rates.
