SenoVax is a first-in-class, autologous senolytic immunotherapy developed for the treatment of cancer, with an initial focus on non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is designed to induce immune responses specifically against senescent cells that accumulate in the tumor microenvironment and promote immune evasion and tumor progression. The therapy utilizes dendritic cell technology to expand the body's natural ability to clear these senescent cells. The process involves extracting a skin biopsy from the patient, generating autologous senescent cells in vitro using proprietary methods, and then creating a personalized cellular vaccine. Preclinical studies have shown that SenoVax reduces tumor growth, decreases metastatic spread, improves survival rates without notable toxicity, and enhances white blood cell production following chemotherapy. Beyond oncology applications, it may also offer regenerative benefits by clearing senescent cells implicated in aging-related diseases[4][5][6][8][10].
