Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SENS-03 is a novel small molecule drug developed by Sensorium Therapeutics for the treatment of drug-resistant epilepsy, specifically targeting focal onset seizures. It is a synthetic derivative inspired by natural compounds and features a differentiated mechanism of action compared to current standard-of-care antiepileptic drugs. Preclinical studies have demonstrated efficacy in multiple validated seizure models as well as preclinical anxiety models, addressing both seizures and comorbid anxiety—a significant unmet need in epilepsy patients. The program is currently in the preclinical stage, with plans to declare a development candidate and enter clinical trials in early 2025[1][3][4].
