Overview

Sentinox is an acid-oxidizing solution (AOS) containing 0.005% (50 ppm) hypochlorous acid (HOCl) in a liquid carrier, produced via the proprietary Tehclo electrolysis technology. Developed by Relief Therapeutics and its subsidiary Applied Pharma Research (APR), it is administered as an intranasal spray. Sentinox is designed to reduce the viral load of SARS-CoV-2 and other pathogens in the nasal cavity through irrigation, cleansing, and moistening. It is certified as a Class III Medical Device in Europe. While a clinical trial (NCT04909996) for COVID-19 did not meet its primary endpoint due to sample size limitations and baseline variability, the product is intended to lower the risk of infections by reducing microbial load.
