SEQ-1150 is a small molecule drug candidate developed by Sequence Bio. It is designed as a potent and selective inhibitor of the enzyme **diacylglycerol kinase alpha (DGKα)**. DGKα is an intracellular enzyme that converts diacylglycerol (DAG), a key signaling molecule for T-cell activation, into phosphatidic acid (PA). By inhibiting DGKα, SEQ-1150 aims to sustain high levels of DAG at the immunological synapse, thereby enhancing T-cell receptor signaling and overcoming the immunosuppressive environment often found in tumors.
