Overview

SER-444 is a preclinical-stage small molecule transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 1 (TRPV1) antagonist being developed by Serentrix. It is designed as a next-generation, thermally neutral TRPV1 antagonist to avoid the hyperthermia and altered heat pain perception side effects associated with first-generation TRPV1 inhibitors. Serentrix is developing SER-444 specifically for the treatment of vulvodynia.
