The drug is currently being investigated in a randomized, multicenter Phase 3 clinical trial in France (the DOPASERO study) for the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children aged 3 to under 7 years. In this trial, it is administered as sublingual granules in combination with another homeopathic preparation, Dopamine 5 CH. As a homeopathic product, its therapeutic approach is based on the principle of "like cures like," conceptually targeting the serotonergic system through highly diluted doses rather than conventional pharmacological receptor binding.
