Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Serplulimab** is a recombinant humanized IgG4 anti-programmed cell death protein 1 monoclonal antibody developed by Shanghai Henlius Biotech. It binds and blocks PD-1 on immune cells, preventing inhibitory PD-1 signaling mediated by PD-L1 and PD-L2 and thereby restoring antitumor T-cell activity. It is marketed as HANSIZHUANG in China and as Hetronifly in Europe. Serplulimab is approved in China and the European Union for multiple first-line thoracic and gastrointestinal cancer settings, including extensive-stage small cell lung cancer, squamous non-small cell lung cancer, non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer, and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma; China also approved it for previously treated microsatellite instability-high solid tumors.
