Serplulimab + aspirin is an investigational combination therapy comprising serplulimab, a recombinant humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), and aspirin, a widely used small molecule with antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antiplatelet properties. Serplulimab acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by blocking PD-1 on T cells to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. Aspirin has demonstrated potential anti-cancer effects through the promotion of tumor cell apoptosis and inhibition of platelet aggregation; preclinical evidence suggests it may synergize with immune checkpoint inhibitors like serplulimab to improve outcomes in cancer patients. This combination is currently being studied as part of first-line treatment regimens for extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC), particularly in conjunction with platinum-based chemotherapy[2].
