Sertraline + telenzepine is a combination of two pharmaceutical agents. Sertraline is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) primarily used to treat major depressive disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety disorder, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. It works by selectively inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin at the presynaptic neuronal membrane in the central nervous system, thereby increasing serotonergic activity and improving mood and anxiety symptoms. Sertraline also exhibits some dopamine reuptake inhibition and sigma-1 receptor binding activity[1][2][3][5][7][8]. Telenzepine is an antimuscarinic agent that acts as a selective muscarinic M1 receptor antagonist; it has been investigated for use in peptic ulcer disease but is not widely marketed or approved in many countries.
