Seventy Flavored Pearl Pills (Qishi Wei Zhenzhu Wan) is a traditional Tibetan medicine (TTM) composed of 70 different ingredients, including pearl, saffron, bezoar, musk, and various minerals and herbs. It is widely used in China and Tibet for the treatment of neurological and cardiovascular conditions, particularly acute ischemic stroke, cerebral hemorrhage, paralysis, and epilepsy. The medicine is believed to improve cerebral blood flow, reduce oxidative stress, and provide neuroprotective effects. It is officially recognized in the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China and is currently being evaluated in multicenter clinical trials as an adjunctive therapy to Western medicine for acute ischemic stroke.
