Overview

SF2000SD is a spray-dried extract derived from a traditional remedy used by a Zambian traditional healer for treating HIV/AIDS. It underwent a Phase I clinical trial that demonstrated safety and tolerability in healthy male volunteers, but a planned Phase II efficacy trial in HIV-infected individuals could not proceed.
