Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SG1408 is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting B7-H3 (CD276), an immune checkpoint molecule that is highly expressed in various solid tumors and plays a role in tumor immune evasion. Developed by Sino-Health (Hangzhou) Biopharmaceutical, SG1408 is designed to bind to B7-H3 on tumor cells, thereby inhibiting its immunosuppressive function and potentially inducing antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) to eliminate cancer cells. The drug is currently being investigated in a Phase I clinical trial in China for the treatment of advanced malignant solid tumors in patients who have failed standard systemic therapies.
