Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SG301 is a novel humanized IgG1-kappa monoclonal antibody that targets the cell surface glycoprotein CD38. It binds to a unique epitope on CD38 distinct from other anti-CD38 antibodies such as daratumumab and isatuximab. The drug exhibits enhanced antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) activity compared to daratumumab and does not induce complement dependent cytotoxicity (CDC), which may reduce infusion-related reactions. In preclinical studies, SG301 demonstrated superior anti-tumor activity relative to daratumumab. It is being developed primarily for the treatment of multiple myeloma and systemic lupus erythematosus[1][2][3][4][5].
