Overview

SGB-CV01 is an investigational RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutic being developed by Suzhou Shengyin Biopharmaceutical (Sanegene Bio) for the treatment of cardiomyopathy. The drug is designed to utilize Sanegene Bio's proprietary RNAi platform to silence the expression of a specific, currently undisclosed gene involved in the pathogenesis of heart muscle disease. As of mid-2024, the program is in the Lead Identification (Lead ID) stage of preclinical development, representing an expansion of the company's pipeline into cardiovascular and chronic disease indications.
