Overview

SGT003 is an innovative bispecific antibody developed by Sungen Biomedical, a subsidiary of Hotgen Biotech, for the treatment of solid tumors. The drug is designed to target Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4) with a specific mechanism of action aimed at selectively depleting regulatory T cells (Tregs) within the tumor microenvironment. By reducing the immunosuppressive activity of Tregs, SGT003 seeks to enhance the body's anti-tumor immune response. Preclinical results presented at the 2026 JPM Focus Series indicate that SGT003 may offer advantages over existing anti-PD-1 and anti-CTLA-4 therapies. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development and was developed using Sungen's proprietary CTLA-4 dual-target innovative platform.
