SH006

SH006 is an investigational recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1), developed by Nanjing Sanhome Pharmaceutical. It is designed to disrupt the PD-1/PD-L1 signaling pathway, which tumors often exploit to evade immune detection. By binding to PD-L1 on the surface of tumor cells or tumor-infiltrating immune cells, SH006 prevents its interaction with the PD-1 receptor on T cells, thereby reactivating the T-cell-mediated anti-tumor immune response. SH006 is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, with a specific focus on liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma). In clinical trials, it is being evaluated both as a monotherapy and in combination with anti-angiogenic agents (such as bevacizumab) and chemotherapy (such as the XELOX regimen).
