SH009

SH009 is a dual-mechanism investigational drug developed by Nanjing Sanhome Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. that functions as both a CD47 inhibitor and a PD-L1 inhibitor. By targeting these two distinct immune checkpoint pathways, SH009 aims to simultaneously block the "don't eat me" signal (CD47) and the "don't kill me" signal (PD-L1) used by cancer cells to evade immune surveillance. This dual action is intended to activate both innate immune responses, such as macrophage-mediated phagocytosis, and adaptive immune responses, such as T-cell activation. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase I clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including liver cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, breast cancer, esophageal cancer, and gastric cancer, specifically in patients who have progressed after standard systemic therapies.
