Shanhu Xuanjing is an over-the-counter (OTC) topical traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal preparation used primarily for the treatment of fungal skin and nail infections, including tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea manuum (ringworm of the hand), and tinea unguium (fungal nail infections). It is formulated as an external solution, lotion, or spray containing a mixture of active ingredients, including compound Shanhu Jiang tincture (derived from the roots of *Zingiber corallinum* Hance), *Curcuma longa* root (turmeric), borneol, salicylic acid, glycerol, and acetic acid. The preparation exhibits antipruritic, keratolytic, and broad-spectrum antifungal properties, helping to dissolve skin keratin, improve penetration, and eliminate fungal pathogens. It is manufactured by Guizhou Jinqiao Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of Guizhou Shenqi Pharmaceutical.
