Shanxi Bethune Hospital CAR-T cell therapy is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory hematological malignancies. The therapy involves the ex vivo genetic modification of a patient's autologous T cells to express a chimeric antigen receptor designed to recognize and eliminate malignant cells. Following expansion to a therapeutic dose, the modified cells are re-infused into the patient, typically after a non-myeloablative lymphodepletion chemotherapy regimen.
