Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Shaoyao Ruangan Formula (SRF) is a multi-herb Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) prescription developed by Zhejiang Cancer Hospital and Hangzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. The formulation consists of 19 distinct herbs, including *Oldenlandia diffusa*, *Scutellaria barbata*, *Rhizoma Paridis*, and *Tetrastigma hemsleyanum*. It is primarily utilized for the treatment and adjuvant management of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), liver cirrhosis, hepatitis, and chemotherapy-induced liver injury. Mechanistically, SRF exerts antitumor and hepatoprotective effects through multi-pathway modulation, including the upregulation of TGF-β receptor type II (TBRII) and the downregulation of NF-κB expression. Additionally, it demonstrates antioxidant properties and the ability to regulate intestinal flora. In China, it is formulated as a hospital preparation (approval number Z20100018).
