Shen-Shuai-II-Recipe is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula primarily investigated for the treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and chronic renal failure. It typically consists of a combination of herbs including *Rheum palmatum* (Rhubarb), *Salvia miltiorrhiza* (Danshen), *Astragalus membranaceus* (Huangqi), *Ligusticum chuanxiong* (Chuanxiong), *Carthamus tinctorius* (Honghua), and *Achyranthes bidentata* (Niuxi). The formula is designed to delay the progression of renal fibrosis and improve kidney function.
