Shendan Tongnao Diwan is a modernized Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) dropping pill formulation developed by Beijing Red Sun Pharmaceutical for the treatment of ischemic stroke, particularly during the recovery phase. The formulation is composed of extracts from *Panax ginseng*, *Salvia miltiorrhiza* (Danshen), *Ligusticum chuanxiong*, and Borneol. It is designed to address Wind-Phlegm and Blood-Stasis Syndrome by promoting blood circulation, removing stasis, and tonifying Qi. Pharmacologically, the drug exhibits neuroprotective properties, improves cerebral microcirculation, and inhibits platelet aggregation. Clinical development has progressed to Phase III trials in China, evaluating its efficacy in improving neurological function and daily living activities in post-stroke patients.
